Specialists from the NCFM had meetings at financial institutions in Germany

In order to pursue its constant objectives to develop and support a sustainable capital market and to create a pillar for macroeconomic development, a group of specialists from the National Commission for Financial Markets (NCFM), led by the president of NCFM Cornelia Cozlovschi, held last week a series of meetings in Frankfurt at the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and other financial institutions, such as the Federal Bank of Germany, the German Financial Agency, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

In this context, in order to achieve the general objective of sustainable development of the capital market, the NCFM delegation in Germany benefited from discussions, exchange of views and presentations on taking over existing good practices in European capital markets.

The President of the NCFM stressed the importance of cooperation between the two authorities, the exchange of information and experience provided by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority through training assistance and consultancy provided to NCFM specialists.

The dialogue with the German partners was very constructive. NCFM employees had the opportunity to exchange experience on the evolution of the capital market, collective investment schemes and voluntary pension funds and to get informed about the evolution and specifics of these sectors operation in Germany.

During the meetings were also established relationships with the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht - BaFin) for the exchange of information, as well as the organization of trainings for NCFM specialists in the fields of capital market, collective investment undertakings and voluntary pension funds.
