A group of experts from the National Commission for Financial Markets (NCFM), led by the NCFM President Mrs. Cornelia Cozlovschi, is conducting a study visit to Germany during May 30 and June 3, which includes meetings with the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and other financial institutions, such as Deutsche Bundesbank, the German Financial Agency and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
The visit is carried out at the invitation of the German side and involves gaining experience in the field of regulation and supervision of financial institutions, in particular capital market entities and pension funds.
The NCFM representatives shall gain knowledge about the operational activity of the bond purchases at the Bundesbank within the Eurosystem's purchasing programs, as well as about issues related to the issuance and distribution of government securities.
The program of the visit also includes discussions on the latest developments in capital market regulation and supervision at European level, technological standards in the financial industry, regulation and supervision of investment funds, consumer protection, etc.
